Mike Breeden

Still searching for first UFC win
April 30, 2022
Breeden lost to Natan Levy via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC on ESPN 35 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Breeden made his UFC debut on just days' notice last October and was knocked out by Alexander Hernandez in 80 seconds. He made weight without issue here, but still finds himself searching for his first victory with the company. Breeden actually won the total strike battle by a 115-99 count, but he also allowed Levy to land nine successful takedown attempts, essentially torpedoing any chance he had of winning a decision. Now 33 years old and without much of a resume prior to his arrival in the UFC, Breeden will find himself in desperate need of a victory his next time out.

Gets another shot
January 24, 2022
Breeden will take on Natan Levy on April 30, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport Nederland reports.
Breeded made his UFC debut in October, but it didn't exactly go as planned. He missed weight and was subsequently knocked out just 80 seconds into the fight by Alexander Hernandez. He'll hope for a better result against Levy, who also owns an 0-1 record as a UFC fighter.
Loses after missing weight
October 2, 2021
Breeden lost to Alexander Hernandez via KO (punches) at 1:20 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Making his UFC debut on extremely short notice, Breeden missed weight by 2.5 pounds on Friday morning and then was torched by Hernandez in 80 seconds Saturday night. It's obviously an extremely concerning set of circumstances, but Hernandez is a talented opponent, and Breeden was put in a tough spot. Breeden will almost certainly receive another shot with the company due to his willingness to "save" this fight, but little should be expected of the 32-year-old Missouri native.
Barely misses weight
October 1, 2021
Breeden missed weight for his Oct. 2 fight against Alexander Hernandez by 2.5 pounds, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca reports.
In what was expected to be his first-ever UFC fight, Breeden missed his weigh-in limit by just under three pounds. Breeden has won five of his last six fights, so if the fight still happens expect the 32-year-old to come out with a lot of momentum. As for Breeden's opponent, Hernandez lost his last fight via unanimous decision back in February, so expect Breeden to have a slight advantage.
