Suffers first UFC defeat
March 26, 2022
Dvorak lost to Matheus Nicolau via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio.
This was expected to be the most competitive fight on the entire card according to the Vegas oddsmakers, and it ended up being exactly that. Dvorak was the considerably more active fighter on the feet and attempted 40 more total strikes than his opponent, but a second-round knockdown from Nicolau was the biggest moment of the entire fight. You just got the feeling that if these two men fought ten times, both would win five. Although he came up short in this one, Dvorak has been extremely impressive during his brief run with the company, now sporting a 3-1 record in his first four bouts with the UFC. The Czech won't be turning 30 years of age until early-June, so he has plenty of runway ahead of him as he looks to make an impact in the flyweight division.

Books matchup with Nicolau
January 12, 2022
Dvorak (20-3-0) is scheduled to face Matheus Nicolau (17-2-1) in a flyweight bout set for March 26 at the UFC's event in Columbus, Alexander K. Lee of MMAFighting.com reports.
Dvorak will return to the Octagon looking to keep his unbeaten UFC record intact after he rolled to three wins in three matches since joining the promotion in March 2020. The 29-year-old will be taking on another red-hot fighter in Nicolau, who has won four consecutive bouts.
Easily handles opponent change
May 22, 2021
Dvorak defeated Juancamilo Ronderos via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:18 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Dvorak cruised to victory despite the fact his originally scheduled opponent, Raulian Paiva, was forced to withdraw following weight cutting issues on Friday morning. One of the more underrated fighters in the division, Dvorak easy took Ronderos' back following an exchange along the fence and quickly clamped on the rear-naked choke that ended the fight. The Brazilian fought it hard, but he never had a chance. The Czech Republic isn't a hotbed for mixed martial arts, but the soon-to-be 29-year-old Dvorak looks like the real deal.
Gets replacement for Saturday
May 21, 2021
Dvorak will no longer be fighting Raulian Paiva at UFC Vegas 27 after Paiva was hospitalized Thursday following a brutal weight cut in preparation for the fight. Dvorak will now be fighting Juancamilo Randeros instead, Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com reports.
Dvorak's fight was expected to be removed from Saturday's card with the event set to get underway in a little over 24 hours but the UFC somehow got Ronderos to step in on extremely short notice. Ronderos owns a 13-fight win streak dating back to his amateur fighting days but Dvorak possesses an impressive streak of his own, as he's won 16 straight including his first two bouts as a member of the UFC.
Fighting in May
February 12, 2021
Dvorak will take on Raulian Paiva (knee) in a flyweight matchup at a UFC event scheduled for May 22, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
Dvorak will look to extend his winning streak after defeating Jordan Espinosa via unanimous decision in September. He's now won each of his last 16 fights and will take on Paiva in May. Paiva most recently defeated Zhalgas Zhumagulov via unanimous decision at UFC 251 in July but has been sidelined since then after undergoing knee surgery. The two fighters are even in height, but Paiva has a slight edge in reach.
Winning streak at 16
September 19, 2020
Dvorak defeated Jordan Espinosa via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It's Dvorak's second straight win to begin his UFC run and his 16th straight overall. Knowing full well he was going up against an opponent who couldn't match him on the feet, Dvorak kept firing off combinations, including 37 leg strikes. The end result was a 69-50 edge in total strikes landed and a clear cut unanimous decision victory. Dvorak is just 28 years of age, but he deserves a step up in competition his next time out. He is going to continue to roll over these fringe-roster fighters for as long as the UFC puts them in front of him.
