Taking on Marcin Tybura
Rozenstruik will face Marcin Tybura on April 9, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The fight was previously expected to take place Feb. 26 but was pushed back for undisclosed reasons. It's possible the delay occurred because Rozenstruik wasn't cleared to fight within six months after he was handed a medical suspension for teeth issues following his loss to Curtis Blaydes in September. Rozenstruik hasn't been in the best form lately, losing three of his last five matches. Tybura lost a unanimous decision against Alexander Volkov in October but had previously won five straight fights.

Can't hang with Curtis Blaydes
Rozenstruik lost to Curtis Blaydes via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 266 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was an underwhelming performance from Rozenstruik, although to be fair, Blaydes wasn't much better. As expected, Jair's biggest issue was his inability to handling the wrestling game of Blaydes. He spent more than six minutes on the mat, which limited his ability to land any sort of offense. Rozenstruik also threw virtually no kicks because he was worried it was open the door for Curtis to drag him to the mat. It ultimately didn't matter, but was probably a smart move. Rozenstruik's biggest moment of the fight was a knee to the face of Blaydes in Round 2, but his opponent still pushed forward for a takedown just seconds later. Jair has made a name for himself since arriving on the scene on the strength of plenty of knockout wins, but he's been woefully exposed when tasked with facing better competition. At age 33, he simply doesn't have the all-around game to compete with the best heavyweights on the roster.

Facing Blaydes in September
Rozenstruik will take on Curtis Blaydes in a heavyweight bout at the UFC event scheduled for Sept. 25, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Rozenstruik is coming off a win by TKO over Augusto Sakai back on June 5. It was a strong bounce back after falling to Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision back in February. Blaydes will be hoping to have a better showing after he fell as a big favorite to Derrick Lewis via KO back in February. Defensive wrestling will be key for Rozenstruik here, as while he sports a solid 80 percent takedown defense, Blaydes is known for averaging more than six takedowns per 15 minutes of fight time. Rozenstruik will also be giving up two inches in both height and reach to his opponent.
