Caleb Williams

2022 Fantasy Outlook
The uniform may be different but we can still expect Williams to deliver on the potential he showed as a freshman at Oklahoma now that he followed Lincoln Riley to USC. Williams usurped Spencer Rattler – no small feat – in October and registered a 65 percent completion rate at 9.1 YPA with a 21:4 TD:INT to go with 381 rushing yards and five scores in the last eight games. He’s familiar with the offense, has valuable experience, and is surrounded by a loaded receiving corps. Read Past Outlooks
Lands at USC
February 1, 2022
Williams is transferring to USC, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.
This is a massive development as Williams was one of the top remaining players in the transfer portal and a potential program-changing quarterback. Williams took over as the starting quarterback at Oklahoma as a true freshman, taking over for a struggling Spencer Rattler. He answered the bell by completing 64.5 percent of his passes for 1.915 yards with 21 touchdowns and four interceptions while adding another six scores on the ground. He'll reunite with former Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley on the west coast and this sets up the Trojans as a legitimate contender in the PAC-12, if not nationally. Per Thamel, Williams is enrolled in classes at USC and is expected to be cleared to join the team in the coming days, which puts him on track to participate in spring practice and entrenches him as the heavy favorite to start for the Trojans in Week 1.
