2022 Tournament PreviewA lack of Quad 1 games (seven) and three Quad 3 losses drag down Miami's NET rating (63), but the Hurricanes can't be blamed entirely for playing in a weak ACC. On the bright side is a stellar offensive attack that protects the basketball. The Canes rank eighth in the nation in turnover rate and 17th in offensive efficiency (per KenPom. That's the good. The bad is they rank bottom third nationally in two- and three-point shooting percentage allowed, as well as in both offensive and defensive rebounding rates. Miami has firepower in seniors Kameron McGusty (17.6 ppg), who shoots 37.3 percent from three-point range, and Charlie Moore (12.6 ppg), a 37.4 percent long-range shooter. What's more, Isaiah Wong (15.2 ppg) has scored in double figures in all but five games this year. An extended run for Miami, though, seems unlikely given the poor defense and lack of high-caliber opposition.
