2022 Tournament PreviewAfter starting 11-0, Colorado State continued to put together a solid NCAA Tournament resume in Mountain West play, including two wins against regular-season champion Boise State. The offense runs through conference Player of the Year David Roddy (19.4 ppg, 7.6 rpg), who has three 30-point games and scored in double figures in each of the last 16 games. Six players have knocked down at least 20 three-pointers for a team that ranks 71st in the nation in long-range shooting, but the Rams also rank in the top-20 in two-point field-goal percentage and free-throw shooting. The only standout weakness is the lack of second-chance opportunities, as the Rams are a bottom-20 team nationally in offensive rebounding rate. Even with that shortcoming, Colorado State still managed to go 12-3 in Quad 1-2 games, making it candidate to survive the opening weekend.
