Why are there negative values?

The dollar values are what we project a player will be worth this year, but we don't necessarily recommend that you bid that amount.

Some players have negative values – this value represents how much that player will hurt you compared to the average fantasy player.

A consequence is that some positions will not have enough players with positive values, and you will have to bid more than the player will earn to fill your roster.

Typically, you'd still take negative dollar players for the minimum bid to fill out roster spots in your auction, with the knowledge of how much we're valuing those players compared to all others in the player pool.
